Mr_Owl
I've got a possible problem. My computer keeps going to sleep at random moments. i was playing a game, and it just stopped, and went to sleep. it's happened at other times, like when i'm downloading anime, reading articles, and almost anything else i'm doing... I've got Microsoft Security Essentials and it isn't picking anything up. Anyone have experience with this? I'm using an Acer with a windows vista Home Premium OS. † Talena Mae
Try giving your comp a good clean out, make sure all the fans are clean and free of dust and see if it happens then... if it continues to happen it could be software problems =S
RikuoAmero
Go into Control Panel, Power. There may be a sleep setting there that was recently changed.

Mr_Owl
i went through and changed all the sleep settings to never, so it won't do that without me telling it too. I'm gonna clean it out tomorrow, i didn't have time today.
BushidoSkeleton
I could be that your PSU (Power supply unit) cant handle what your doing anymore, try replacing it with one with higher wattage. For example you could be using 400W PSU and your power demand use to be 380W but now for whatever reason its 420W and it cant handle it. Windows normally goes into standby when it requires more power.
