Uhm, okay. I don't think I'm stupid, but I am really confused about something. Okay, so I always thought that Cloud Nyne's anti-akuma weapon was her monkey. When I said this, someone told me that the monkey was the exorcist, and she just trained it. But then I read somewhere that the monkey is her weapon and that it is a parasitic type, but for some reason not physically connected to her body. Can someone please solve this dillema. Much appreciated.

It's been like three years since I saw this show, I really need to go back and watch it again, but atlas this is what I discovered about her when I looked it up:

Lau Shimin is Cloud Nyne's parasitic-type anti-akuma weapon that takes the form of a little monkey usually seen riding on her shoulder. It is the first sentient Innocence shown in the series. When invoked, it transforms into a monster that attacks with balls of energy that form at its fists.

So it's the first of it's kind shown in the series and it's her weapon. It's not actually a monkey, it just takes on the form of a monkey.
