MaskedX
I am surprised that Disney picked up on Shippuden. I mean the material is pretty grown up for them. Naruto was a great series but Shippuden by compairison is like smurfs and bleach they just deal with different kinds of viewers.

SMURFS!! and Bleach = Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, you know id never thought id here smurfs in the same sentance.(chuckle).im not sure i get what your going on about, when naruto first came out it was directed i gather at kids from about 10+, so know that the character have all grown, it will still be viewed by the original viewers who are obviously older aswell. yea u wit me! But also its still going to be enjoyed by younger kids, One because of the fighting (i know i have a little boy!) and 2nd thats what companys, people, persons as big as whoever owns Naruto(Masashi Kishimoto, Shonen Jump, Studio Pierrot, TV Tokyo, & Shueisha) do they target the younger generation because there easily more influenced than someone that is older.Fact!sooooo...i dont think compairing Smurfs to Bleach is queit the same as compairing Naruto to Naruto Shippuden.imo
MaskedX
I suppose I did not make myself clear. In my part of the world a disney owned cartoon channel is the only source of Shippuden on the tv. That was my only point in the first section.second I know smufs and bleach right...but that would be interesting a bleach style arch and violence but done with smurf characters... that would be one messed up nightmare. In any case I was just noting the more mature style of animation seen in the shippuden series. I know that this follows the maturing viewers but it does seem like the level of writing may exclude the younger generations from being able to watch ange get into the series thats all. Koby
Yeah Disney is the channel it airs on over here in the United States since after that filler fiasco Adult Swim didn't want it again and they wanted to make room for several shorter series like Kekkaishi. As for why Disney picked it up? As a way to expand their viewership base, to see if they could successfully gain Anime fans and possibly get them to watch some of their non-Anime shows. Of course they use censors to make the show appropriate, but don't worry most people rip the DVD's or iTunes to release the uncut version which you find on our forum. I don't think we even have the TV rips posted here, lol. I'm sure if someone wanted the cut episodes that someone might supply them, I don't know.
