† ballard
It could have been a single part that was causing it not to work and they replaced it. I personally prefer new electronics, but I don't have any problems with refurbished items as long as all the faulty parts are gone.
biggman15
My only experience with Refurbished anything is my Zune... And it has been going strong for a couple years now...
realmzmaster
The only computers I buy are either used or refurbished. I have not had any problems. The computers I have now is a used one. No problems and still going strong. I use to only buy new, but that got to be an expensive proposition when my wife and children needed one. GDP
Really refurb is going to have less chance of failing as its been put through the tests already of have been running. New isnt always better. Usually if an electronic doesnt fail within the first week or two, its not going to.
Muiki Sama
In my not so humble opinion, Referbished is better than new. With new you dont know if it will really work out of box (like the first xbox 360 release, no I will not let microsoft live that one down.)
