I was instantly curious about this cartoon that didn't look like all the other cartoons and wanted to know more.It wasn't until I was 13 that there was anime on TV, since anime was rare then in Africa. The series was Mew Mew Power, the heavily edited English dub version. I loved all the sparklies and the pretty costumes and 'BFF Forever' themes they had going on. The first anime I was rabid about was Voltron in the mid 80's. I used to run flat out from the bus stop in order to make it home before the theme song started. I haven't watched it for a few years, as I fear it might not live up to the fond memories that I have for it, and don't want to destroy them. LQZ11 Posted December 12, 2011 Report Share Posted December 12, 2011 I am not completely sure, I think I started watching Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Digimon and Dragonball pretty much around the same time but I could be wrong.Well, I actually believe DB and Digimon came a little later and I remember not liking Sailor Moon so I would allways switch to Pokemon.
