Goku vs Vegeta gets my vote. From the beggining of the series when they first faced each other, through the fight withh kid buu, you could see how they pushed each other to be the best. Even though they were more friends than enemies toward the end the rivalry was always there.

Goku and Vegeta all the way! Not just the Galick Gun also who could forget the SSJ2 Goku vs Majin Vegeta battle or their multiple fusions?

Also ROFL on the Squall and Cloud that is sooooo random! :D

Light vs L of course gets numero uno.

But out of the poll options i went with Yusuke and Kuwaba. Even if the rivalry dissipated in the later half of the series(same can be said about vegeta tho).

Although I went with Goku and Vegeta, Light vs L is and EPIC rivalry to say the least I completely agree with you!

Zoro and Hawkeye from One Piece. Hard to get into without spoiling a lot of major points in their character dynamic (which I don't want to do xD ) but it's really a great rivalry that's a lot more complex and developed than simple, "I want to be better than anyone else" or "____ annoys me."

I'd have to say Suzaku and Lelouch. Mainly because of their very complicated ex-friendship and how despite having similar perspectives on things they still fought each other. One of the best in my opinion due to the way they were written and the scenerios they were placed in.
