Minerva
Well you can manually add them using MKVextract to get the subs, then go into xvid4psp and add them and encode. Thats the only way I know.
vampire-queen
Ok, so I went with the xvid4psp, and what I was looking for was just for a way to put subs on the parts of the anime where there is japanese writing or kanji or whatever you want to call it on paper, signs ect.I don't want the entire text for the whole episode, just the text for the written words in the anime.thanks again, every and all comments are appreciated =)
† L4ugh
Another option you can try is DVDFlick. I've never actually used the subtitle feature to this program, but I know it has one. I think you will have to extract the subs (MKVextract) then add them through the subtitle menu. It is free and opensource though.
