Hey all,

I'm new here, and just thought I'd say hi. I'm into mostly the comedy based animes, though I do like some action ones such as DMC. Not really into a lot of the hardcore animes that people like to watch though. The main reason for this is because I am visually impaired. I do have some vision, but not enough to really get into the the action of a lot of things. My acuity is 20/800, meaning that if you were standing 800 feet from an object, I need to be standing 20 feet to see it at your 800. How do I use a computer and do all that stuff you ask? Simple. With a screenreader. It converts text and things on the screen into synthetic speech.

is another. Probably my favorite animes would have to be Haruhi, Devil May Cry and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5ds. I wasn't really into GX, but the original was good. If you guys have any recommendations for anime that you'd think I'd like, let me know. I'm always willing to try something new, as long as its dubbed.

hello and welcome to the forums.

if you're interested in non-hardcore anime, you might wanna try watching Death Note or Code Geass, since they are two anime in which the characters play mind games rather than actual fighting. they're both really good and fun to watch.

I have watched a bit of death note before. It was pretty interesting. I don't mind hardcore action anime, but the kind where I have no idea what is going on is the problem. I'm not quite sure how to explain it.
