At a shallow glance it looks like just some fanservice heavy and weirdly "rapey" lesbian romance show. But dang. Episode 4 (spoilers incoming) reinforced my hopes that it will have some deeper meaning. Spoiler I realized when the curly haired friend of Mei sexually assaulted her, that the depiction was somewhat menacing, quite different from the encounters of our main gal and mei before. Which were kind of glorified assault. But even more: they talked to each other and stated clearly that they did not think about the others feelings.. they are open about it, admitting its a mistake. I would go deeper into it, but I've just randomly felt inspired to make a youtube video out of my thoughts on the episode: so check that if you want to hear more about my perspective and interpretation So on a spoiler free note: I think people who felt uncomfortable with the amount of sexual assault in the show should give it another try, they seem to bring in a much more differentiated perspective now.
