Hi, hi, hello!

 

I'm new here and I found Kametsu when... searching some encodes on nyaa (arrr, matey!). I am from Poland, 19 years old and I am perfect example of otaku/anime-manga-lover/gamer/whatever.

I started watching anime few years ago with Fairy Tail and Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, but since last November I am watching anime, reading manga and listening Japanese music more and more. I love One Piece, but this is probably one & only battle shounen I like (besides FT of course). My favourite animes are also Code Geass, Log Horizon and Strawberry Panic, Grimgar, KonoSuba, Yu-Gi-Oh from TOEI and probably some more I forgot right now. I like action anime, but recently I am watching a lot of slice-of-lifes and similar. From mangas, I especially love Bloom Into You!, Ookami Shounen wa Kyou Mo Uso o Kasaneru or Citrus (i am waiting for anime so much <3) and from LNs - No Game No Life, Log Horizon, Maria-sama ga Miteru - so there is a lot of different genres  I am also listening to Japanese music (of course a lot of these are OPs and EDs from anime) and I don't have any favourite kind, but I like listening to bands like I WISH and Wagakki Band. If I want to listen or watch something non-Japanese, I love Blackmore's Night, Batman from 1989, Back to the Future series and Teen Titans from Cartoon Network (of course the first one, not... that weird parody abomination something for children).

 

I am also gamer - I enjoy jRPGs, like Suikoden, Persona series (love so much <3) and Sakura Taisen (well, it's only in Japanese, but thankfully there are some English text translations in FAQ websites... but I guess learning Japanese would be much easier, but I'm lazy :v). I am especially into retro games and one of my favourite games is Neverhood.

 

...and finally, I have a lot of hobbies - I am editor in website with reviews of retro games and anime/manga stuff, where I am writing articles, editing videos and making a voice-over... so yep, that's similar to working alone in own YouTube channel. I am also translating some mangas (making clearing, typesetting and translating alone, because... why not?) and doing quality control in anime fansubbing group. Well, yeah, that's a lot of work, but why not enjoying life in that way? :V

 

Puhhh.... that's all. Why I am writing this? Well, I always love reading these "welcome" posts so I'm writing similar too. I found this website here because of encodes, but now I hope I maybe will find here some community... what would be great, because I was searching for some good, multilingual otaku community :v So, hello, cheers and let's get along.
