GIF's successor?

APNG filesizes are way too huge. webm is much nicer. There's also animated webp, which is also much better than APNG because you can use lossy compression and keep the size low.

I've never heard of APNG. Seems like the .webm format won the day, since that's what I use & see others using most of the time. Did any of you ever find out if the forum supports .webm files? I would simply give it a shot if I wasn't afraid I'd break something. 😅
