Anime episodes that got banned/merged from broadcasting and why

Show: DiC's Sailor Moon dub
Episode: Day of Destiny
Reason: The original Japanese episodes 45 and 46 were edited into one episode due to the violent deaths of the Sailor Soldiers, as well as the possessed Tuxedo Mask hurting Sailor Moon. The deaths were rewritten as the Scouts being "sent to the Negaverse" and scenes of Tuxedo Mask hurting Moon were axed out, though only a few were shortened.

 

Show: 4Kids' Pokémon dub
Episode: Electric Soldier Porygon (no dub title)
Reason: This episode was immediately banned after the one-time broadcast in Japan. This was due to the rapid flashing blue and red lights after Pikachu launched its Thunderbolt on one missile. Due to this incident, the episode ordering was affected: 4 episodes were postponed for a later broadcast and one episode was created during the 4 month hiatus.
