Dish Network México used pirated kisscartoon clips on new channel launch promo

So here's the deal: Fox Latin America announced a new network called "NatGeo Kids Latin America," replacing MundoFox Latin America in the region. 

 

So, Dish Mexico decided to promote the new launch, and so they made their own promo. The problem here is... I /think/ whoever was in charge in making the promo didn't check the KissCartoon watermark on one of its clips. Pay close attention on the top left corner, and on the TV the kids are watching. lol

So what you guys think that a huge service provider used kisscartoon footage?

Forget how unethical that is, don't they know kisscartoon is all crappy re-encodes? I think it's even sadder how little these service providers care about quality. Forget the amount of shit upscales on cable at their hands. Like why the hell would anyone pay for a service that has shittier visual quality than a pirated bootleg? Shit makes no sense to me. Instead of saying "don't pirate" and being complete scum to your customers give us reasons not to other than because it hurts our business, your business deserves it the way you run it.

I'm just annoyed on how lazy they were, and how they used kisscartoon out of all other options lol (and yep, that place just steals rips, re-encodes them, and takes all the credit)

I honestly wouldn't mind as much if they were just stealing the rips, but re-encoding them into garbage is completely unecessary and pointless. There's re-encoding where you try to retain as much quality as possible for the amount of compression you're using (which I'm still against fuck re-encoding), and then there's plain lazy/re-encoding just for the sake of re-encoding which is by far the dumbest thing ever. That's like ordering a gourmet dinner just to microwave it while it's still fresh for no reason at all.
