Can not remember the name of an anime

I can not remember the name of an anime and its starting to really bug me to no end now. It was in the last 5-6 years if I remember right. Its a shorter one at only 12-13 episodes. All i can really remember is the fact that people could summon items some of which could be mundane like scissors while others could be weapons and the like. There was a war going on as well. now if someone could list off a bunch of anime that conforms to my criteria that would be swell.

Could have sworn there was only 12-13 episodes tho. guess I have been watching way to many of the newer short anime that have been flooding in the past few years.
