aleksandrored
Which version is best to watch?
Koby
The anime obviously. The movies are recaps for those who have seen the show. As usual with recaps, they just highlight the key parts but leave out most of the character development. There is also some slight changes here or there in these though.
badman
Movies are just fine if you don't want to sit through 42 episodes deciding if you like Gundam.
LightningEagle7
The movies actually do a good job of highlighting the major events of the series, and has newer animation that the series does not. However, you do miss a lot of character development with the movies and if you have never seen the series it is difficult to understand why certain people are acting the way they are. InazumaBuster
The movies are the best overall experience, but if you have the time and commitment, it might be worth watching the TV series first, then the movies. The movies just have a special kind of magic feeling that the series doesn't.
blackjacka
The series, especially now that the high quality BD rips have been replacing the older stuff. The English dub wasn't that bad either, but it was missing a (fairly pointless) episode.
