Help with ps4 region change (blu-rays)

Even if you get a DVD from a different region, you can only change the region a specific number of times. If you were trying this on a PC with a decent internal Blu-Ray drive, you could reset the counter every time you reboot.

Your best option would be to play it on your PC (assuming you have a decent internal Blu-Ray drive).

If you have an internal Blu-Ray drive in your PC but don't want to hook it up to your television or whatever, another option would be to remux. Of course you would need AnyDVD or similar software to decrypt the disc. Probably a learning curve for you?

If you don't have an internal Blu-Ray drive in your PC, then I suggest you say fuck you to Sony and whoever produced/distributed that disc and go find yourself a copy on your favourite torrent site.

P.S. lol, you're using a PS4 for multimedia consumption.

Hi!

I bought Blu-ray disc that can be only played on region A, but my ps4 is locked region B.  How to change it region A please help. I saw video explaining secret option to change region but u need dvd from another region and its not 100% that it will work.

PS4 is brand new hardware, which means theres no way to hack it yet. You'll have better luck with a PC drive or certain BD drives that be "unlocked", or a modded PS3. You could also just get a cheap BD player from region A for that specific purpose.

Another option is ripping the BD to your PC, stripping out the region locking, and burning a new disc

The fact of the matter is that a PS4 is designed by corporations for corporations. You have all sorts of DRM and geoblocking going on. While you can wait for a possible solution to this case of geoblocking, PCs already have a way around it.

Burning Blu-Ray discs is another option, but it will end up being more expensive than purchasing a lifetime license for AnyDVD (highly recommended, btw).

Edit: And let's not forget about Cinavia...
