how censored is the Claymore manga?

just got into it,and almost every scene where one would think thered be some fan service...there isnt.
the most recent one i came acros was in book 3,spoilers,

where teresa gets her shirt ripped off...then on the next page,say a few secs after previous instance...her shirt is as good as new....

 
in any case,i hate buying censored stuff-but im going to have to,since i want to keep reading it :/

I don't remember anything overly censored. (or censored at all).

Sometimes they won't show you, for example they'll cut the shirt open and then show you a side-on view. I don't see this as much as censoring as a choice of directing-(maybe wrong word?).
It's definitely not a ecchi fan-service manga though, haha.

I read claymore a long time ago though, and then only like 1 chapter every month (not including the author's breaks). So my memory may be off.

i ask because i read that viz is really into editing

not only that,but right at the beginning(i suppose for legal reasons)they warn you that stuff has been edited

Ooh, right. I read it online so what I got probably wasn't touched by viz.

A lot of western companies edit the manga they license so I assume it's not that big of an issue. Though it is a bit unfortunate if you do enjoy the fan service. (I know I do)

I haven't read all of Claymore, but Viz hasn't censored stuff in there manga for many years now, except for the ones in there Viz Kids division.

The pokemon manga was in Viz Kids division, which still gets censored today.

Mature Readers Dark Horse published manga is usually uncut. I believe Viz has also released Dragon Ball uncut, but as everyone here said they edit a lot of their manga.
