Best Way To Edit/Fix MP3/FLAC Tags?

I'm currently using BRU and MediaMonkey.

My main issue is with importing the English names into Japanese tags.

I'm currently doing it like this:

1) Bulk Rename Utility to remove track numbers.

2) Bulk Rename Utility to fix names so they're like Track_Name_One, instead of track_Name_1
-File names...not the tags.

3) Bulk Rename Utility - Old_Name|New_Name
-This involves making a text document.
-Copying the old names to said document.
-Manually C-n0P New_Name after the |.
-But it only works for the file names...not the tags.

3) MediaMonkey to rename title tags from file name.

4) MediaMonkey to <autonumber> tracks.

5) MediaMonkey to remove all the 'pointless' tags.

6) MediaMonkey to remove album + other in-tag art.

7) MediaMonkey to import a 500x500 cover art.

So, yeah, this can get a bit...much with rather large music collections.

Any faster/easier ways to do this ya'll know of?

Give Winamp and its auto tagging a try. It can do multiple files at once with the option to review them to make sure it grabbed the right info.

 

I dont know what tracks you are using (English or Japanese) but Winamp has handled both quite well in my experience.
