I have been watching anime a very long time, and still watch the classics. At the moment I am re-watching the "Ghost in the shell" series and still find it very enjoyable. I can not pin down my favorite anime series, but my favorite movies are "Grave of the fireflies" and "Rurouni Kenshin Reflection". Both are in my opinion what good anime should be.
