Anyway, I'm looking for decent reverse harem or like female-targeted (maybe even josei?) anime. I love Ouran High School Host Club, Uta no Prince-sama, and Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. I've tried watching Amnesia and Kamigami no Asobi but I couldn't finish them because I thought they were terrible. I DID finish DiabolikLovers, but only BECAUSE it was terrible, which made it hilarious. I realize that this isn't a profound genre, but I'm looking for something with at least a little substance. Also, I can't stand the idiotic, Mary Sue heroines that are so common in this type of anime. I tolerate Haruka in UtaPri because the rest of the characters at least have a little depth to them. I've also tried watching Kuroko's Basketball because I thought it would be similar to Free!, but I got bored after about 10 episodes. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The English version wasn't as good though. Tonari no kaibutsu kun was on par in hilarity for me with OHSHC. A few anime I liked that are more female targeted but a bit farther away from what you've listed are:Aishiteru ze Baby-Really adorable story.Ah my goddessFruits basket-Girls gotta love the main character.Hiyokoi-Short but good.Hori-san -A great feel good story. I actually started reading this manga because the anime was too short , and I don't read manga.Kamisama kissKaze no stigma-more adventurous but still greatThe new sailor moon! (or the old of course )Kimi ni todokeLove Hina (harem anime but very satisfying romance and ending)Love ComMy bride is a mermaid (what girl doesn't like mermaids? )Ookami san-cute little animePlease Teacher-A little naughty, but a very sweet romance.
