Tanis
I understand, but the whole 'it pay for itself' thing is there, that's why I like PSN+.More space for my saves + free games as long as I'm a member. As I linked in the previous thread:http://www.amazon.com/Assassins-Creed-Ezio-Trilogy-Playstation-3/dp/B009GZX49Y Edited April 17, 2014 by Tanis
Kid Ryan
@Tanis: Another reason I prefer physical copies is, if I lost my PSN account (hacked/deleted), I wouldn't have to re-buy the game. As for that Ezio Trilogy release, it's just a Revelations disc with install files for AC2 and AC: Brotherhood.I dislike that since it takes up more HDD space. Which is why I'm buying the separate retail cases/discs.I realize that buying them separately is more expensive, but I don't care...saving HDD space will always matter more to me than saving money. Btw, sorry if I'm coming off as defensive or rude *sweat*. Edited April 17, 2014 by Toddler Naruto
JimDaddy
I always install all my games because physical can get very finicky very fast. This is the reason I'm on my 2nd 360. I installed all my games because the drive began having issues doing anything minus installing and reading the disc enough to tell I owned it so I could play it. This is also why I wish it wasn't so hard to hack a 360! Then I'd have 2! One could be for all digital downloads!

I didn't realize that. Then, I'd have to agree with you with not wanting to buy it.I'd rather have physical than digital, even if I do have a 500GB HDD.XD
Kid Ryan
@JimDaddy: Oh, I have no issues with installing the game data from a retail/physical disc to my PS3's HDD. I was talking about the ridiculously big install file size for a game, if you buy it digitally from PSN etc. @Tanis: That's a relief, heh. Btw, what's your PSN ID? I tried friending Tanis on PSN, but I never got a response.

Kid Ryan
@JimDaddy: No, that's not what I meant. I'm talking about the file sizes for games being bigger on PSN, not how long it takes to download them. Random Hypothetical Example: AC2's Game Data (from retail disc) is 3 GB, while the file size of the PSN install data is 6 GB etc. I'm not saying those are the file sizes though, just trying to explain what I'm conveying to you. JimDaddy
Ah. Yeah, not having the physical media means you have to get everything instead of just what the game would've put on the HDD.
Kid Ryan
@JimDaddy: Yup that's what I meant , I'm glad you finally understand my reasonings . Anyways, here's hoping that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is indeed $25 New or cheaper during Amazon's Black Friday/Christmas 2014 sales.
