PHP Script Ideas

So I just bought a VPS from http://serverhub.com from their budget section. I need idea for a simple website script that I can try out on it. 

 

I was thinking of some ideas myself, which are:

• A simple checking script - check what, I'm not sure.
  
• A simple forum script.
  
• A browser-based online text game - I was thinking some sort of simulation game.
  

What do you think would be a good idea?

As you can see mine is down lol. Upside for you is yours will be up as long as your site is. I have to rely on iSig because I don't have a server/know PHP.

The server is in Phoenix, Arizona and has:

80GB RAID10 HDD

1GB RAM

512MB Swap

1Gbps port

2TB bandwidth

CentOS 6

OpenVZ virtualization

 

Should that work for a big use? I don't want to get overages LOL.

Ren was actually talking about having a MUD for the forum. That'd be a pretty cool idea and we wouldn't need to reach for any art or audio assets since it'd be all text. o3o

I may do that once I can register the domain. My Student PayPal needs a parent to activate the included debit card and stupid GoDaddy won't take Paypal.

Make a php chat bot . Or or... um... well you could always go with the traditional standby and make a database driven website with php as the link between the database and the html.
