The latest in a very long line of wrestling games. In some ways the best, but in others, not so much. I still prefer the N64's No mercy, primarily for the fact that it actually had a women's title storyline... Which is something the games that came after always seemed to forget about, or just cut a lot shorter than any other included storyline.

If anyone else has the game, tell me about your experience! or your created wrestlers! Something!

Right now, I'm playing in WWE Universe mode, my custom wrestler is a 6'1" crazy chick with really long hair who cartwheels to the ring. She doesn't screw around with slaps and hair pulling like the other girls, she just starts kicking people in the face. She is currently the #1 contender for the "Diva's" title, and is set as a rival for most of the women's diviision by the game's storyline... She may or may not have slammed each of them through the ringside barricade... multiple times.... while she was attacking them during their matches because the game wasn't giving her any matches of her own.

She uses 2 custom finishers. The "Eternal Rest" which is a punch combo ending in a superkick, and the "Original sin" which is a strike combo ending in a sitout powerbomb pin. Undefeated in competition, and with a mean streak a mile wide, none may stand against The Wild Devil.

I haven't arrived to late for the party have I?

I am not a long time wrestling fan, my mate got me into the games and watching the shows through the Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 game, since then I have had a love for the games. Sadly I do not know the joys of the golden classics before 2008 and 2007 so you will have to forgive me.

Now for the current game WWE 13, I have to say I am impressed, unlike last year this years game has a somewhat solid soundtrack unlike last years which I hated!! Even the menu is more enjoyable, I love the red and black colour scheme over last years horride orange and black, the colours made it hard to enjoy for me. This years game has also won me over with all its Attitude Era characters and currect superstar roster, sure there are a couple of superstars that I would like to see in a recent WWE game such as Curt Hawkins (I believe he is a good wrestler) but I can;t complain to much right?

This years game has seen the comeback of the Special Guest Ref match and it is better than ever (with one excpetion which I will cover later.) I loved this mode back in SvR 2007 as screwing your friends over is always fun. The one down side to it is in a big guest ref match, when the ref interacts with a superstar they can sometimes lock up and they are frozen for the rest of the match, nothing can be done from that point on, still it is forgiven with its many match options such as Spec Guest Ref in a Hell In a Cell match!!. I also love the addition of the I QUIT match type.

I am yet to create my wrestler in this game, but he will be the same as always. I will try and get pics up sooner or later. At the moment I am playing universe Mode 3.0 and getting certain superstar to the top, but with my game on the hardest difficulty that is a little bit of a challenge. But thats the way I like it.
