Signature size limits?

My last signature went a little something like this, and followed all guidelines:

And for my current signature, I was going to do a very similar thing. But, I got an error saying I can't have more than four lines of text. This is what I wanted:

My thoughts are quixotic, stark, and robotic; mechanical in nature all the time.

By removing the link to my tutorials, the forum deemed it acceptable. I just wanted to know why. To my understanding, the signature should fit all of the posted guidelines. I don't even have four lines of text; unless it's counting them during the editing, in which case, I might, because the URLs for my links are rather long.

Okay, I briefly stole your signature to see what was up. I think you're right and that it's counting four lines of code.

To shorten it up, use TOPIC instead of URL and erase the subforum name (leave the dash). The code below should work the way you want.

No problem! And erasing the topic names also works as long as you leave the dash.

Random BBCode options are fun to play with, though I haven't had much luck with the table code for some reason.
