Source Film Maker goes Open Beta!

For those who aren't rabid Valve fanboys and fangirls, Steam recently released a new project called Source Film Maker, which according to them condenses all the work of an animation studio into one PC.

Hardly a week had passed since the announcement of a closed beta that Valve announced that it would be going into open beta with this. SFM is now available for download on Steam for free for animation enthusiasts to play around with.

A lot of guys all over the world have been having fun with it and creating their own videos.

From what I've seen SFM is really looking awesome. It let's you capture motion, mnaipulate motion of a 3-D model and then adjust cameras and lighting around it to give whatever kind of cinematic effect you want. My current favorite is the engineer neck troll.
