Krogothwolf
I've been playing SWTOR for quite a while now, pretty much back when the beta started. It's a pretty damn fun game. There is nothing earth shattering about the gameplay as it's similar to many of the MMO's that are out there. The space missions are pretty damn fun, though they don't add much to the overall game though and they are only soloable, though being able to do co-op or pvp space combat would be entertaining. The Companion things pretty neat, though since combat has been designed for them it doesn't make it any easier or harder(though being a healer with a tank companion, or tank with a healer companion do alter everything.) and the affection system/companion storylines are pretty nice and well done. The voice acting is pretty good for the most part, though there are some really badly done ones in there. The story overall is pretty damn good too, and its fun being able to solo your class story and the planet story. They have Heroic's/FlashPoints for group(and operations for raiding.) They have a social system implemented where you get points to that when you make conversation choices, though considering only one FP is big on conversation its a little weak to be honest. Your characters can be light side/dark side for both factions, so you can have a Light Side oriented Sith or a Dark Side orented Jedi(or Trooper/Bounty Hunter, Smuggler/Imperial Agent). Which is a little nifty. The only thing this does is alter story a bit(such as you killing/sparing people) give you access to side equipment(Light Side get Blue and Green crystals, Dark get Red) and give your character sith corruption if you are evil, or glowing blue eyes in combat if your good.Classes are identical per side A Sith Warrior=Jedi Knight, Trooper=Bounty Hunter. They pretty much just rename the abilities for the class to something that makes sense for the side you're playing. You pick an Advance class ans stick with it, though the Advance classes have 3 tree options(giving you 2 combat roll options to chose from) so it gives a little flexability for how you want to play. If you don't always want to be a Sith Juggernaut that tanks you can reset your skills to be a DPS one. And I think the skill reset is free once a week, haven't tested it myself yet thought.I'm not big into PvP so I haven't given that a shot much but its not bad, world PvP doesn't truly happen though till later on due to how the planets are setup, I think it's at about 34ish that factions start going to the same "planets" to level at the same time(and have access to the other factions section.) (Though Tattoonie does this as well, its only for one portion and then your off on a different planet again till 34+).All in All, the game is extremely fun, and I enjoy it a lot. Nero D. Ace
I've been doing the Jedi Knight story as a Sentinel story and I gotta say that there are points where I pick the dark side options. I'm pretty sure I've gotten about 500 Dark side points simply because there were some things I didn't like about the Jedi/Republic.Early on in the training grounds, this Jedi master asks you to spy on two Padawans as they might be secret lovers. Turns out, they are. Now, you get light side points if you tell on them and dark side points if you choose to keep their secret. Well, love can't always fail in Star Wars, even Luke proved that, so I was all - f*** you, Jedi order, Dark side FTW

Hupla
I have finished the Sith warrior story, I would say that overall it was a good 25-30ish hours. But that might have just been because I had friends with me majority of the time.
renovalentine
Cheers Hupla so its not excessively long. Mine will probably take a little longer however as I'm by myself, but my cousin has got it now but he wants to do the republic first so i will be starting a Jedi story soon. Krogothwolf
Prologue is rought levels 1-17ish, Chapter 1 is 17-31ish, Chapter 2 is 32-41ish and Chapter 3 is 42-50. In terms of levels anyways. You can obviously stream through the story if you have higher levels guide you through them, but those are the levels of the chapters you'll be dealing with.
