Greetings to all those who have decided to come and check out my rudimentary computer graphics work. Enjoy your visit and I'm always happy to be pointed toward helpful tutorials and the like!!! I'm working with an antiquated graphics program, ie; Paint Shop Pro 8, right now, but I do what can with what I've got... I may splurge at tax refund time on a new program, so please feel free to make suggestions on that, too.

BTW, I'm really proud of the new sig I've made, it only took me about 1/2 hour to do.

Before you read I'm not being rude or harsh just saying what thing's look off on them.

Your backgrounds and effects look great my only complaint is about your "Characters & Text" the edges look really rough

Image #1 your text is perfect here no flaws in it but the character's edges kinda ruin the sig ((then again could be the stock image you used just doesn't seem to work well as a sig unless you smooth out all the outlines))

Image #2 The character looks a little rough around the edges I've used that person in a Image before so maybe you just missed the dimentions a tad to give her pixelated edges,The Lens Flare on her rose is very dull and the lines from the light makes her face look a little off,The text looks great aside from the white border around it you did a great job blending it to her colors and the backgrounds.

For a example to how the lens flare can be used to blend better look at my current sig,I applied the lens flare on his necklace but kept the brightness from messing with him too much.

Image #3 is fine I don't have any experience with animation yet so I can't really judge on it.

Your stuff is very well done you just need to work on the edging of your characters/Text and try to get your effects to blend a bit more and you'll improve quite quickly.

Also for program's try to get either GIMP or Photoshop CS2 I'm pretty sure GIMP is free but I think you either have to find Photoshop at a Computerstore or Pirate it from a website :/ and PS can cost you from 80-120$'s

Nice work, im in no position to comment on others work seeing as im not an expert at GFX yet. Not to say your work isnt good, I just feel its missing a few things here and their. Well thats my opinion of the first signature, which if im not mistaken, the character in that sig is ranma from ranma 1/2 2nd movie. As for the second signature that seems to have great detail and seems to speak more in terms of artistry to me.

Keep up the good work I'll look foward to more GFX work from you!
