† L4ugh
I'm looking for one of these as well. I found a player called Daroon Player on the android market, but I haven't been able to keep the family off of angry birds long enough to test it. It does say it can do the things you want, but I can't tell you yet how well it works. Edit: I've decided not to go with Daroon Player because I didn't like the permissions it required. I haven't been able to find anything else either, so for now I'll just stick with the default crappy player the kindle comes with. I may try the MX Player that LordKyro mentioned at a later date, but I want to learn more about the Android OS first. I want to know what kind of vulnerabilities I'd be leaving myself open to if I accepted the different permissions that some of the apps require.I would stay away from Meridian Media Player if you're putting this on a tablet because it uses gesture based controls. I tried it and uninstalled it almost immediately because it played worse the kindle's default player.I'll keep you informed if I find something worth while. ZeroPenguins
Well I know that mvideoplayer works, but it's paid. I use one of the older version and it works on android. Has subtitles options.
zolockit
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mobo.video.player.prohttps://market.android.com/details?id=com.clov4r.android.nilUntil a decent build for arm/linux of mplayer2 is done, with a gui (using loljaver) that is "user friendly," those two are your best bets.Be aware of your hw ofc concerning playback.Sent from my DROID2 using Tapatalk
