seirachan
Today we had to put down my uncles cat and I'm very worried for mine. I don't have the money for a vet visit. I tried googleing it but I couldn't find anythingI'm not sure what happened to the cat he freaked out randomly its hard to explain how he freaked out it's kinda like he wasn't moving his body and he hit the wall trying to make himself go to the other side of the house. He sat on the rug and his right eye was foaming and he was breathing heavily. My mother brought him to the vet while I was at work and she said he was put down. She said she had no idea what was wrong with him. This cat was allowed outside almost everyday and I knew he was eating out of the garbage. I never let my cat outside but the big problem is, did it spread? The only thing my mom said about Shadow, was his name, was that before he died he simply just stopped going outside but that's not very helpful. Also he was not neutered. So far my cat looks healthy We just threw out Shadows littler box, food bowl just in chase. I just gotta change my kitty's litter in a sec and sweep the floors. I don't wanna lose my buddy.
ZeroPenguins
Well recently I read a newspaper and it said something about pets eating rat poison, or other poisonous stuff. Apparently the owner had a dog and a cat both of them died, the cat died first, but the dog was still alive but was putted down since it was in a lot of pain. Well when the owner got back, the dog was acting weird and was in a lot of pain. Something like that could of happened to your uncle's cat. Well either way, if I had cats I won't let it leave the house and same goes for my dog, I only let him out for walks and that's pretty much it. zeopower6
Sadly, death is something that most pet owners eventually have to come to terms with. Cherish the time you have together as much as possible! Even if he is completely healthy...

When hes old I'll be ready to let him go but now is too soon hes barely a year old if that.
DrumRoll
yeah its horrible losing an animal that you love....I came back from town the other week to find one of our most beloved horses had suffered a heart attack while in the field. It was soul destroying, especially as he was such a brilliant animal. He used to come when you called his name and I used to jump BSJA with him:(But all things pass eventually and you learn to appreciate the time you did have with them and be thankful that it wasn't a painful death...
