I like this series in general but I sometimes find the dark humor to be uncomfortable at times. I got the same feelings I did from this series as I did with Welcome to the NHK's type of humor. Volume 9 of the light novel comes out late this month in Japan. Maybe they'll wrap up the series in the LN within a couple years and make a final season for the anime.
