Media Blasters Adds Queen's Blade & Ikkitousen 3

Media Blasters CEO John Sirabella has revealed on the Anime on DVD forums on Thursday that his company has acquired the Queen's Blade and Ikkitousen: Great Guardians anime series for North America. He also added that each of the anime will "get a dub," and that both Queen's Blade seasons are scheduled for release before next summer.

Geneon Entertainment once released the first Ikkitousen anime series in North America, and Funimation now has the license. Media Blasters announced at Anime Expo 2007 that it had licensed the second Ikkitousen anime series, Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny. Tokyopop released the original manga in North America under the name Battle Vixens.
