He defeated Madara and the Nine Tails all by himself. I would give the second position to the Third Hokage though. After all he was called the god of shinobis. saminyt Posted April 17, 2012 Report Share Posted April 17, 2012 I know many people will disagree with me, but I think that the 3rd Hokage was the strongest among the Kage. I know that his battle records are a blank to us as we haven't seen him in action at his prime, but we do know some of his history. He was said to master all the jutsus of konoha(except of course the kekkai genkais), he faced two great Shinobi World Wars and he shared the nickname "God of Ninja" with the Sage of Six paths. Even at his old age, he was able to take down the resurrected 1st and 2nd Hokage and even foiled Orochimaru's plans.Another reason I'm saying this is because the Third Hokage was regarded as the strongest Kage of his time. That means, he was stronger than the third Raikage(Strongest Raikage) and the third Kazekage(Strongest Kazekage).I Know there isn't any hard evidence to prove my point, but that's just my thoughts.
