Okay then, well I have just finished watching the 28 episodes of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, also known as The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. And well I must say I did enjoy the series but i feel like I must be missing something I mean I have to be right? I mean there wasn't really an ending to the series and nothing really progressed at all. What exactly does that mean? I know there is a movie for it after, but is there any conclusion to this series? Or does it leave it like, no relationships formed, nothing explained, things just remain the exact same as when it started? Like Mikurus future self what was with that or why she's there to begin with. or what her future self said to Kyon. Or does anything happen between Kyon and Haruhi. I mean okay they share an umbrella as they leave school in the rain. It just really confuses me how everything is sort of left like in the middle of nowhere. :beat_brick: someone please shed some light onto this. And no I haven't read the light novels and don't plan to XD But I mean good series but .. lol what?:beat_brick:

Well, considering the series only covers the first 3 of 9 light novels, the plot in general is still only building up. There's a movie that covers the entire events of the fourth book, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, but that's still just something of a plot buildup. It's gonna take a damned long time for the series to get to a point where it seems like you'll be satisfied.

Although the Endless Eight certainly didn't help.

Besides, if you watch the episodes in the less confusing order, it makes it pretty plain that character relations are being established and Haruhi's being pretty sweet on Kyon.
