Asch
I tried using Windows 8 DP, as far as of now, with a hell lot of a bugs(literally, a lot), I find it just fine for the next version of Windows, some people said that its just Windows 7 with Metro UI, quite contrary, its more than that. Well, I went to see insights, the whole kernel has been rewritten to support real-time apps rather than in the traditional virtual machine platforms(java scripts and as such), although that itself caused many crashes, I tried to develop a few tiles, not worked as it was said to(maybe cause its just a preview ?), and not noticed much change in performance, my boot time was still near about 1m~ same as with Windows 7. And since I used mouse and keyboard(Start screen is kinda not made for it) really, it was not fun as promised it would be on keyboard/mice combo). So, what are your views on the developer preview ?P.S. I mean, the users who have tried their hands on it, not the evangelists/haters....
Dude888
I was planning on trying it, but I have a lot of stuff to do with school and 20gb is a hell of a lot of space especially if its something I'm not going to use a lot for the moment, I think I'll keep this disc space for anime. I will probably test it later this year when it will be less buggy.
