Xanodus
Okay, so this is really annoying now. It's about Adobe Flash Player. So randomly out of nowhere, I go onto youtube and try and watch a video. But when I click on a video, it says I need to get or upgrade my flash player to above the 10.0 version. I have searched on the net to see what to do, but nothing works. So I go to the adobe website and prepare to dl the flash player for internet explorer. First I uninstall my previous flash player and restart my computer. Then I dl flash player. On the website, it says that if you cant see the adobe picture, then flash player isnt working. I could see the picture though. So I restart my computer, and gointo youtube. Nothing. No youtube vids work. Here is some info if it helps:System is: 64-Bit operating systemCompaqIll upload more info if asked for. Please help me out! Any help is greatly appreciated. ^^
mando_22
Ok just to make sure I understood this right:You went here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/downloaded and installed flashplayer for (IE?) correct? To see if it installed successfully, go here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/The banner towards the top should do a quick animation and then say flash player installed successfully. And a box titled version information will be on the right if it installed correctly. If you see that box what version does it say you have installed? If the banner doesn't show up try reinstall flash from the first link, then run the check again. Also, if it still isn't working you might try it form a different browser to see if its only one browser with this issue. Digatu
I can only suggest at this point to give it a day then retry youtube, If all else fails.I had an issue a while back where youtube videos wouldnt work so I reinstalled flash player and they still didnt work.I went back 24 hrs later and it was working again. The only reason I could track down was that the youtube cache I was connecting to was under maintenance. Not a lot of help but, yes, It is very annoying to say the least.
