Kasoivc
So I recently purchased a laptop and I'm still stumped as to what I should install on it. I don't want to bog it down with excess programs but I think I should hit some key things.I've got a Microsoft Office, a Movie Editor, plenty of Antivirus/Anti-Malware/Spyware programs. I think I'm going to look into getting a copy of Photoshop somehow since I'll be taking photography classes this following year. Not much else I'd do with my laptop I think. Maybe some music but I think I still have about 400gb left out of the 450 I started with.Any suggestions? Just basic ideas to springboard off of, I don't need specific programs because I can look around for stuff but I know I definitely needed MS Office for word editing and power points lol. biggman15
Every student should have Steam. although I've only ever bought 2 games off that system... Super Meat Boy and Terraria. If you want more game related suggestions I could come up with several more... but that may not be what your interested in... Kasoivc
Haha, I put steam on it because this laptop could actually handle quite a few. AMD Dual Core Phenom II, 3.0ghz and 4gb of Ram. I might look into one or two more games but I don't really intend on playing games very much. Just something to pass time in class probably, I mean I have Plants Vs Zombies on this thing lol. biggman15
In that case, I'd add Minecraft and a Super Nintendo Emulator... Although, Minecraft may be a bit too much... Not for the computer. Rather, If you get sucked into those type of games, then you may want to avoid minecraft.I'll leave you with that, Enjoy!
