director13 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Share Posted April 29, 2011 Hey guys,So i recently got into anime...and now i believe i'm addicted lol.It all started when i saw Death Note. I loved the suspense, the character development, and the plot!Ever since i've been trying to watch an anime that could grab my undivided attention again. I tried Cowboy Bebop, and while it was good, i whole-heartedly realized that I don't like episodic animes. I also tried Neon Genesis, but for some reason, it really didn't connect with me lol.So! What anime should i watch? I love animes that are very suspenseful--where each episode leaves on a cliffhanger that just forces you to watch the next episode. For fighting style anime Yu Yu Hakusho is a great one that also is story driven with good VA and charcters. For a more laid back type that is focused on character development and story Spice and Wolf had me finish the series in one day cuz i got hooked after the first episode. lol Gurren lagann is also a good one that had me watching one episode after another. Lots of action, some comedy, and good VA with good charcters and story. But its hard to tell what shows will have this effect on you since everyone has their own tastes and all.
