Madara's sharingan very powerful as he can teleport himself anywhere in the world and in the battle field he can evade any attack if timed right .Sasuke's sharingan is made for battle he has the amaterasu and most important of all the ability to control the amaterasu and to top it all he also has the perfect sushanoo. Madara was hurt while fighting with Konan(in manga) and he was forced to sacrifice his left eye by using the Izanagi ; otherwise he would have ended up dead.
