RikuoAmero
I was just on the Steam website and noticed their advertisement for Portal 2. Specifically, it says, if you pre-order Portal 2, you get a free copy of the original game, or if you already have it, you can give it to a friend. Now let's say I preorder 2 and I send off 1 to my friend. I haven't paid for anything yet. Now let's say I then decide to cancel the pre-order. Does Steam then have the right to go to my friend and remove the Portal 1 from his account?Of course this is assuming Steam gives my friend Portal 1 at the pre-order stage, and not when Portal 2 is released, which is when I've paid cash. The site isn't clear on this. Also, I've never pre-ordered on Steam before, so I don't know if they charge Visa now or when the game is actually released (I have pre-ordered on Amazon, and they only charge once the product is shipped). GaZzErZz
Yeah their pre order is quite messed up. Its a case of let us hold your money until the game comes out, no matter how long it is delayed for.
