Hey Everybody!

Ive currently started ripping all my DVD's to my PC. Im gathering a nice little Library. The main Program im using to convert my vids is Handbrake

How do you add/encode Subtitles onto the selected file?

Im trying to add Ong Bak 2 (were the whole film is subtitles) When im ripping/encoding, what do I put my subtitle settings to?

Thanks everybody!

Well if all you are wanting is to add soft subs to your encodes. Just go to the subtitle tab and add the number of subtitle tracks you want to keep. To select them use the pull down button under the text Track: to select the different subtitle tracks. That's all I really do for subtitles in handbrake. It will use the default settings for the rest of it, which has always worked fine for me. Only thing you may need to look out for is that sometimes when you add tracks the Burned In box gets checked by default which you will want to uncheck so handbrake won't burn in that track.

I'm not really sure how many tracks you can add but I always add all of the ones on the dvd minus the closed captions track, because they always got burned in when I used the last version. Even if the Burned In box is unchecked. I haven't bothered trying with the new version yet though.
