Since I you like action animes with robots, why don't you try watching some Gundam series? Gundam Seed, Seed Destiny or Gundam 00. If you are looking for ongoing anime, Infinite Stratos or Beelzebub are good choices.in games, I haven't played Mass Effect so I don't know what I looks like so I'll just make an obvious game recommendation, Halo: Reach is awesome ahhaha Try it! They are similar to mass effect.As for the anime, find someone else you know that enjoys anime, and browse some of their collection. You will find something eventually.
