A new AMV for me

Good:

You obviously have made AMVs before.

The work you put to it is good, and for a change, you seem to know that an AMV only works if the music suits what you see. Basically most AMV Makers just take a huge clip or two and slap a music on and call "it" an AMV.

You obviously thought twice about each clip. I commend you for taking your time into doing something decent.

Bad:

The first thing that catches the eye is the poor quality of the images. I don't blame you for it, when you Upload something on Youtube, it gets like that. But I've been making AMVs for sometime now and I can see the quality wasn't all that great beforehand, which, I wont blame you for either. In the fast clip exchange for the riff on 2:40 (good move there, I admit), you used the same three clips over and over again. Now, it does look good, you should've just un-lazy and cut some more clips for the fast clip. I feel your pain thought :P. Also, you should try to use more fade out effects and the very usefull Black Screen O.o. You'd be amazed of the effect it gives out when you put a black screen on the part where usually instruments stop before the violent part of the music, and as that same violent part starts, you put your clip on it, with no fade-in effects, maybe a zoom, or flash. Try it out. Try to make the clips move along WITH the rhythm of the song. I know you know what I'm saying because you did try that. Just do it on a larger scale, every scale change in the song, you try a different clip. I agree that there isn't much to work with in Akira, but I know you cn'do it.

-----------

You have the skill and pacience. You also have the ear. Just keep going, I would say.

Rating 10 - 8.9/10
