Donald Trump vs Bernie Sanders

Donald J. Trump: He has never held elected office - not to my knowledge. However, as a successful business owner he has spent a lot of time dealing with the political system from the local level to the international level and has a decent handle on what is not working. That experience also tends to lead to the desire to fix what is broken, and ideas on how to do just that.

He also wants to not let in Muslims from certain countries until everything gets worked out. So, unlike many people say, he doesn't want to ban all Muslims, he just temporarily doesn't want to let in Muslims from certain countries. Don't get me wrong, there are many Muslims that are good and nice people, I have one close Muslim Skype friend, however, alarming numbers of Muslims support suicide bombings (source 1) and high numbers think homosexuals are bad (source 2).

He also wants to ban illegal immigrants. Keyword: illegal. He has nothing against, for instance, Mexicans that naturalize. If you can't gain citizenship, you don't deserve to live in the USA. This is why he wants to build a wall - to keep out illegals. There are videos of Mexicans just driving over the fence between the Mexican and US border.

Of course, Donald has his flaws. For instance, the jokes he makes are, in my opinion, often distasteful.

Bernie Sanders: I used to be a Bernie supporter. But I have realized that some of his ideas are, in my opinion, just plain stupid. For instance, high taxes can't work and free colleges seem like a bait for teens and college students.

Socialism can't work. If everyone in the world wanted to help each other and if nobody was greedy, yes, socialism would be the perfect system. But, sadly, in a world like this, socialism can not work.

In the end, it all boils down to your political views. I am a right-leaning person, so I will obviously prefer Trump. However, in some cases it is justified to call some other candidate stupid and call your candidate superior, for instance, if the candidate you don't like has seriously broken the law, etc, etc.
