expanding horizons

have always enjoyed anime and the general style of art work that surrounds it of all varieties, so i have taken to expanding my horizons beyond what is presented to the american public as prime examples of quality and good anime (not saying any of them are garbage or anything along those lines just saying they inspired me to "go further down the rabbit hole" as it were. so im here to find new and interesting series, any recomendations are welcome.
