This is Weird!

So i have been using KCP and i'm luvin in it. But yesterday i found something weird. I was watching LTZ's Bleach encodes. Even though i was watching it in 720p at the best setting my computer could handle (middle with AR) it was a little nit blurry. So for some reason or another i had to leave the video on pause and was away for like 10-15 min. When i came back the playback quality was real good. So i noticed a pattern: When i play my video without pausing in the beginning the quality isn't that great. But when i pause initially and wait around 5 min the quality is pretty solid. Now i'm not sure if there is some internal buffer that needs to be filled first or something. So i'm wondering if anyone else has come across this or has an idea why this is.

I'd recommend using MPC-HC (latest version) with MadVR (latest version). It's much better than KCP and runs smoother too. The occurrence you had doesn't happen, so you don't have to pause for the quality to get better.

If you wanna know how to install MadVR, there are dozens of tutorials or you can find out from this too. MPC-HC with MadVR Tutorial and extras

Hope this helps.

KCP does it for you. Its an automated MPC-HC + madVR (both the latest version).
