Zanco
I don't want to be that guy but I own a good majority of the Ys games and from a couple of the remakes (PSP Version of Chronicles and the Steam version of the game/maybe in Origins as well but my memory is a little foggy on which game.) Fina, one of the two goddess' of Ys, pronounces the name in an opening monologue and it's just Ys (ies). It's french. But in your defense I did think it was "Y's" for a when I got my first copy of one of the games game. Just lookin' out for ya'.

I never said how to pronounce it or not pronounce it? Are you just talking about how I put the ' after Y? cause if that is the case then yeah I see the difference. But I have never pronounced it as Y's. Edited December 20, 2013 by osborn_2009

All I was saying is that when you write it as "Y's" it's being pronounces as if one is using the plural for the letter 'y'. The title of the game, as I'm sure you know, is just "Ys." I'm not trying to disrespect you by correcting you.

I was honestly really confused about why you were trying to tell me how to pronounce it when I have known how to correctly for years. It just didn't occur to me that I had been putting the apostrophe after the Y for some reason until after you said that. lol
