Some of the music is quite nice. Pretty amusing that they shot over $600,000 in three days of starting to take orders. Fair number of interested people. After rolling around like a maniac on the bed, I posted about it on Facebook: I have been waiting forever!!!!!!!!!!!!#!!!!!###))#(l8°c (## And then I harassed one of my friends about it because we used to play Terraria together. He said that he wasn't going to preorder because of a tragic preorder event he didn't want to talk about due to it being extremely triggering, but that he'll probably buy into the beta when it goes live. I'm sitting on a four pack that I'm going to give to the people in my household. I will bully them into playing this game with me, I'm so excited. I thought $100 for a game was normal but $1000 and $2000 just to get some exclusive content and the fact that some people bought, wow some people have money to blow... The reason the tiers are silly things like "Design a hat!", "Name an NPC!", and "We'll build a statue of you!" is because they didn't want to give people exclusive content. They want all content for the game to be available for all people, not just people who happened to buy into the pre-order! So it's not exclusive content!! At all!! The only things that are "exclusive" are their names in the credits and a forum button that says they donated money!! That's not really in-game content!! I believe the reason they offered high tiers is so that people could donate lots of money to the project, and that's totally cool because there's always a project that some people are really invested in. During the Homestuck Kickstarter, there were two people who donated $10k! † Emotional Outlet Posted April 19, 2013 Report Share Posted April 19, 2013 It looks like they're talking about having starter pets as the next stretch goal. o3o They're collecting opinions from the masses, since some people would definitely prefer to have something else, but it looks like we might have starter pets when beta launches. I don't care either way, it's all going to be available eventually, but I think it'd be pretty neato to have a pet from the start! I don't really do a lot of multi-player, so I'm probably going to solo it or do co-op with one of my friends. My roommate and Java might be interested in the game, and I could probably get Java to set up a server for it, but they're super into Minecraft right now.
