GeekyAlex
One of the first videogames you could neither win or lose.... Anyone play it? I play SimCity 4 for two reasons: I am not paying $60 for SimCity 2013.andI heard SimCity 2013 got terrible reviews. I'll post some of my towns soon. PhoenixLogan
I played the original back on SNES which was a lot of fun, trying to beat the scenarios to unlock that final one was pretty tough, and trying to keep your citizens happy was another endeavor all together. I also found it to be a really peaceful game, just something to sit back and relax since unlike so many games at the time, you were creating and not simply blowing the crap out of everything in sight. My brother got most of the later ones on PC though, particularly SimCity 2000, which he just spent HOURS with that game. Then came four which he also loved and now the recent one that has since become his biggest game purchase regret. The always online thing and the fact that the game is essentially supposed to be a multiplayer game considering just how much to rely on other cities to help your's didn't make him all that happy. GeekyAlex
Yeah, 4 is the only modern SimCity I like, along with 3000. Did you know you could modify it? There's sites to download custom buildings/modifications for it such as Simtropolis.
