Hicks
Not long after I got Steam, I discovered that I could add shortcuts for my older games to my game library in Steam. More recently, I discovered that I could add icons to the buttons for those shortcuts, though they only seem to be able to add the old desktop icons. I have a bit of graphic skill, so I'd love to make my own artwork for these shortcuts that would make them look more like the other games in my library. Does anyone know how I can do that? I've tried just adding jpegs and the like, but it doesn't work.
† Irish
they need to be in .ico format from what I have seen and used. Ill look around and mess with it myself to see what I can come up with. But as far as Icons go I seem to be only able to get .ico to work.
Hicks
I tried that on one of them, but I couldn't seem to get it to accept that any more than a regular image format. Thanks for looking into this, though.

Hicks
Well, according to a friend of mine, this is impossible, though a lot of people have been begging Steam to make it happen. One can only hope they actually do that at some point.
