DLC for Dead Island game play my 2 cents worth

In my end end of the world I paid US$12 for a DLC and I'm somewhat perplexed after 2 hrs into the game. I enjoyed this game but the DLC just makes every zombie X3 faster attacking you from all sides. They don't stop coming so I don't ever get the time to loot. Kind of dissappointed. I should have started Batman AC in my shelve.
